Our show on the 9th of November was a great success, with more than 190 visitors. The quilt raffle was drawn and the winning number was 1825. The winner, Judy Skelding of Compton Dundon, was delighted and says the quilt will be well loved and cherished. The show made a substantial amount of money for Guide Dogs. The quilt raffle and proceeds of the show combined make a total of ….. £3,503.06

We have decided which charity we are going to support this year – and that charity is – Guide Dogs for the Blind
We will be donating the proceeds from our November show, plus money raised by the raffling of the quilt that we are making.
Our next Quilt show is planned for early November 2019. Watch this space!!!
We are making a group quilt for our next chosen charity, which will be sold later this year, either by on-line auction or by raffle tickets. The colours are very neutral – ivory – warm greys – browns and touches of duck egg blues and the quilt will fit a double bed.
